There are many lessons that we can learn from the TV show “When Calls the Heart.”

The show is about a woman, Elizabeth Thatcher, who leaves her life as an executive to become a school teacher in Coal Valley. It’s not hard to see how she has to make adjustments for living in this small town with limited resources and people who have different expectations of her.

We can all take something away from these lessons on how to work with people. First of all, it’s important to show respect and kindness. There are so many people in Coal Valley who look up to Elizabeth as a role model for living the life that they want.

It can be tempting to treat them as though they’re beneath you because of their circumstances but we should always remember where these people came from and how hard they’ve worked just to get by day-by-day.

In addition, while this might not seem like an applicable lesson at first glance, there is also a lot about being genuine and honest with people – even those who don’t deserve honesty or your courtesy!
